Launch of an Educational Summer Camp for Children of the National Community Abroad
The Embassy of Algeria in London would like to inform all members of the national community residing in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, in coordination with the Ministry of National Education and in response to requests from the national community abroad, announcesthe launch of an educational summer camp for the children of our community abroad. The camp will take place from 6thJuly to 13thAugust 2026, coinciding with their presence in the homeland for the summer holidays.
This camp is based on an educational, communicative, and interactive approach that combines linguistic immersion with social integration. It offers children of the national diaspora the opportunity to benefit from Arabic language classes aligned with the national curriculum, as well as an educational program designed to reinforce their national identity across its historical, cultural, and spiritual dimensions.
The camp targets two age groups: the first comprises children aged 8 to 12, while the second includes children aged 13 to 16.
The camp program is organised into three (03) educational sessions. Each session lasts two weeks, comprising a total of twelve (12) hours of instruction, delivered in three (3) sessions per week, with each session lasting two hours, in accordance with the following schedule:
• First session: from 06th to 17thJuly 2026;
• Second session: from 19th to 30thJuly2026;
• The third session: from 02nd to 13thAugust 2026;
These courses will be organised across fourteen (14) wilayas: Chlef, Bejaia, Biskra, Tlemcen, Tiaret, Algiers, Jijel, Setif, Skikda, Annaba, El Bayadh, El Oued, Khenchela and Ain Temouchent.
Please note that participation in this initiative is subject to the order of registration and the capacity limits of each group.
